As National Director – World Vision Peru, you will oversee the development and strategy of all country operations. Founded in 1994, World Vision Peru is a member of World Vision International, with about USD $12 million in revenue and more than 252 staff nationally. 8% of the budget is raised locally. World Vision Peru impacts the lives of over 115,000 children and their families in 624 communities across 6 regions. World Vision Peru is focused in child well being, education, emergency response and disaster risk management. WV advocate for child protection against violence at national, regional and local level. This position is responsible for all aspects of World Vision Peru’s work in the country and the implementation of World Vision’s Global Strategy, Our Promise 2030. You are a highly accomplished visionary leader who combines proven business disciplines with inspirational management skills to effectively communicate global initiatives, cultivate relationships, and identify opportunities to successfully drive World Vision Peru’s growth and development.
§ Master’s degree in Management, Social Sciences or equivalent.
§ Eight (8) years of senior management experience, including sound and proven experience in Business and Marketing with ambitious targets, with overall responsibility for growing the fundraising portfolio of a profit or not-for-profit company.
§ Five (5) years of experience in Governance.
§ Experience in working with children and children’s programmes is highly desirable.
§ Fundraising experience, and familiarity with current donor trends (private and public).
§ Experience with organizational change management processes.
§ Proficient Spanish and English.
§ Ability to communicate and negotiate with key internal and external stakeholders at a National and International level.
§ Experience in leading executive teams or senior leaders.
§ Work environment: Office-based with frequent travel.
§ Travel: 40% Domestic and international travel is required.
